Lashelle Ramirez is a New York City based photographer.
As a conceptional multimedia artist, Ramirez's work focuses on telling stories through collective series, rather than presenting individual photographs. Their work seeks to spark conversation and provoke thoughts regarding specific issues and ideas through scenes created from pure imagination.
Ramirez’s most recent work “Neither/Both” was a thesis installation for the fulfillment of a BFA in Art Photography in the department of Transmedia, College of Visual and performing Arts, Syracuse University. In 2016 they worked amongst FAMU international students on an exhibition entitled "Vždy Neco Osobního", held at Galerie Fotografic in Prague, Czech Republic. Their work has been featured on multiple publications such as The Daily Orange and Outcrowd Magazine.
